Dunque
The venue had already been open for a few years—or rather, it occupied only half of its current space. The idea for the restyling came from the opportunity to double its surface area, introducing new distinctive elements while keeping the soul of the place intact.
We expanded the counter, embellishing it with a marble top, reorganized and enhanced the lighting thanks to a burgundy iron structure, and gave a strong identity to the new room by restoring the existing wood paneling (boiserie). Custom-made shelves complete the bar area and the wine rack wall adjacent to the entrance: a targeted intervention that does not distort what this place has always been.
This is also why, once the renovation was completed, we wanted to wait a few years before taking these photos. If it is true that a house gains beauty when it is lived in, even more so a public venue gains charm when it is experienced: a place that evolves while remaining true to itself.
